Wuxi Wandi Power Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale backbone enterprise that develops and produces internal combustion engines, turbochargers, diesel generator sets and their parts. It is a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province and one of the top 100 enterprises in Wuxi City. Its predecessor was the public-private joint-stock Wuxi Power Machinery Factory established in 1956.

In 1994, it was standardized and restructured into a privately-owned joint-stock company, Wuxi Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Wandi Power Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was established in the same year.

In 2004, it was transformed into a limited liability company with multiple investment entities, and in January 2008, it was restructured into a joint-stock enterprise collectively held by the backbone of the enterprise’s internal management.
